To prepare, this here process works best iffen yer pictures are similarly sized an' preferably in landscape orientation. Click on the likenesses if'n ya need a bigger view, as coupla 'em contain lil details pertnint to this here tutorial.
  2. 2
First, you otta install Picasa on yer computer. fer this here tutorial I will be usin the Windows version, but the durned Mac one is purty similar. Picasa is some kinda free photo managin program from Grooble an' kin be found at http://www.Grooble.com/picasa/
  3. 3
Once you're through the hookup process, open up Picasa. It will ask y'all a few questions/options, just choose what y'all want. Once you're finished an' have Picasa ready to go, on the top bar head on over to "File" then choose "Add Folder To Picasa...".
  4. 4
Choose the folder containin the pictures y'all aim to use fer the nametags. Click the durned "OK" button.
  5. 5
The photos otta be stuck in purty damned fairly quickly. Find the newfangled folder y'all stuck in in the lower left corner of Picasa an' click it. Your pictures otta be brought right on inta view.
  6. 6
Double click the first one to brin up the "Edit" view.
  7. 7
Now we need to add "Captions", which will be the names fer the guests. At the bottom of the picture thar otta be a bar what says "Make a caption!". iffen thar isn't, click the gall-durned lil grey square in the bottom left of the viewin are to brin it up. Click on the bar an' then type in the first person's name.
  8. 8
Once you've entered the first person's name, press enter to save the caption. Then, press the right arrow to keep right on to the next picture. keep right on the process 'til no uncaptioned photos remain.
  9. 9
Click the button to go "Back to Library".
  10. 10
Now, pick the photos ya aim to print. I'll be damned straight to hell an back if you caint do this here by right clickin the durned folder containin the now captioned photos, or by manually usin Ctrl or Shift to pick individual pictures.
  11. 11
Now, click the "Print" button at the bottom of the screen.
  12. 12
Choose how many tags y'all want per page.
  13. 13
Choose either to shrink the durned picture or to crop the picture. Croppin be mayhaps the best idear.
  14. 14
Open up "Border an' Text Options". Choose the "Caption" option fer text. The rest is yer preference to play 'roun with (font an' size, etc.). It looks not too shabby to add a border. you kin also choose where the text is placed. Press "OK".
  15. 15
You kin now change yer printer options, or you kin git them. Press the "Print" button once you're ready. Now just wait fer the tags to print out!
